I" HAVE ALWAYS BEEN DRAWN TO THE WAY THINGS COME TOGETHER" RS
A room. A piece of fabric. A work of art. An old photograph. A garden. A city.
For me, design has never been simply about how a space looks. It is about the dialogue between materials, objects, architecture, memory and the people who inhabit them.
My journey began with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art History from the University of Toronto, followed by a FIDER-accredited Interior Design Diploma from Humber College. Over more than three decades in the world of interiors, I have worked alongside respected Toronto design studios and in television and lifestyle media as an interior designer and stylist.
In 2007, I established my own design practice, developing a signature approach rooted in individuality, thoughtful detail and a belief that a home should ultimately reflect the person who lives there.
Today, my work continues to evolve. Alongside my creative pursuits, I represent a distinguished British textile house in Ontario, connecting with the design community and working closely with some of the most beautiful fabrics and wallcoverings in the industry. This role has deepened my appreciation for textiles, craftsmanship and the stories that materials can tell.
Increasingly, I am drawn to the art of curation and styling — bringing together what already exists, discovering what is missing and finding unexpected connections between pieces.
I am inspired by interiors that feel collected rather than decorated, and by the art, architecture, landscapes and craftsmanship of the places that have shaped my perspective — particularly Italy.
Photography has become another way of looking: a way of collecting moments, details and places that continue to influence my creative eye.
AN ENDURING DIALOGUE BETWEEN MATERIAL, PLACE AND STORY.
